Privacy Policy

Health-Nut AI ("Nutty," "we," "us") is published by RChefs Consulting, LLC. This page explains what we collect, why, and what actually happens to it in plain language, not just boilerplate. If anything here is unclear, email support@healthnutai.com and ask directly.

What we collect

Only what the app needs to do its job for you:

• Account: your email address and password (handled by our authentication provider, Supabase; we never see your password itself, only a secure hash of it).
• Protocol: what you tell onboarding about your situation, whether that's a named diagnosis, symptoms, or general goals, along with any conditions or medications you flag, and the exclusions/exceptions you build over time.
• Scan history: the photo of every ingredient label you scan, the verdict Nutty gives it, and any follow-up questions you ask about that scan.
• Recipes: any recipe you save, and the ingredients or cravings you type in to generate one.
• Billing: whether you have an active subscription and when it renews. We never see or store your card number, Stripe (our payment processor) handles that entirely.

We don't collect anything beyond this. There's no location tracking, no ad network, no selling of your data to anyone, ever.

Where it's stored, and who can see it

Your account data lives in our database (Supabase), scoped to your account alone at the database level, not just hidden in the app's screens. Nobody, including us, can browse your protocol, scans, or recipes through the app. A member of our team could only reach your data directly in the database if genuinely necessary (for example, investigating a bug you reported), and we treat that as the exception, not routine access.

Where your data goes to make Nutty work

Nutty's actual reasoning, reading a label, deriving your protocol, writing a recipe, runs on Claude, an AI model built by Anthropic. To do that job, the relevant photo or protocol detail for that one request is sent to Anthropic's API. Anthropic processes it to generate Nutty's answer and does not use it to train their models. We send Stripe only what it needs to process a payment (your email and payment details, handled entirely on Stripe's own secure systems). We don't share your data with anyone else.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account exists. A scan or recipe you delete is removed right away, including its saved photo. If you close your account entirely (see below), we remove your data within 30 days.

Your choices

• Edit or delete a scan or recipe: any time, directly in the app, no waiting.
• Edit your protocol: any time, from the Protocol tab.
• Delete your account and all of its data: self-service deletion is coming in a future update. Until then, email support@healthnutai.com from your account's address and we'll delete everything within 30 days and confirm once it's done.
• Ask what we have on file: email us and we'll tell you plainly, no fee, no runaround.

Not a medical record, not a covered healthcare provider

Health-Nut AI is a wellness tool, not a healthcare provider, and we don't treat your data as a formal medical record. We still handle it with real care, everything above is true regardless of that distinction, we just don't want to imply a level of regulatory status we don't actually have.

Children

Health-Nut AI is intended for adults managing their own health. It's not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change what we collect or how we use it, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above. We won't quietly start doing something new with your data without saying so here first.
